Sickness is not a punishment but a test and an opportunity for sins to be forgiven. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“No Muslim is afflicted with pain, illness, anxiety, grief, or even a thorn pricking him, but Allah expiates his sins because of it.”
(Sahih Bukhari 5641, Sahih Muslim 2573)

📖 Quranic Verse #1 – Sickness as a Test

“And We will surely test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives, and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:155)

Patience during sickness earns immense rewards in the Hereafter.

2. Allah is the Only Healer (Ash-Shafi)

While medicine is beneficial, true healing comes only from Allah.

📖 Quranic Verse #2 – Allah is the Healer

“And when I am ill, it is He (Allah) who cures me.”
(Surah Ash-Shu’ara 26:80)

Whenever you or a loved one is sick, trust in Allah’s power to heal.
